Formulated to optimize theproduct’s lipid profile for growth promotion, this lipid-enrichedBSA is processed to provide a minimum of 98% albumin and to beessentially free of IgG. This low-endotoxin preparation isintended for serum-free and serum-reduced cell cultureapplications. A supplementation rate ranging from 0.5 to 2.5mg/mL has been effective in the production of recombinantproteins, virus particles and monoclonal antibodies in culturedcells.
